Your kitchen is about to smell incredible 🍎

Hi Reader,

Fall has officially arrived, and I couldn't be happier about it. The crisp air, the changing leaves, and a reason to make all of my favourite cozy recipes!

I missed last week's newsletter (sorry!), but I'm back with two recipes that have been on repeat in my house lately: my go-to Spiced Apple Cider (that makes the whole kitchen smell incredible), and an Apple Pecan Crisp that's basically autumn in dessert form.

You'll find both apple recipes below. I'd love to know if you give them a try! I also have a new short video for the Apple Cider that you can check out below, let me know if you like it!

Have a wonderful week, and thanks for being here!

A mushroom stuffed with melting brie cheese.

Hi Reader, Today I'm sharing a few of my favourite holiday appetizers: all easy, cheesy, and perfect for cozy gatherings. The baked brie with red pepper jelly is a new recipe on my website. It looks impressive but takes almost no effort, and the flavour is warm, sweet, and savoury all at once. I’m also sharing my brie stuffed mushrooms, which are packed with flavour, and a fun Christmas cheese board that you can really get creative with. If you’re entertaining this month (or just want cozy...

Someone taking a spoonful of creamy chicken pot pie soup out of a grey bowl on a black charger plate.

Hi Reader, It’s been such a grey and chilly week here, and I’ve been craving a warm bowl of soup. This chicken pot pie soup is one of my favourite things to make at this time of year. It's simple, cozy, and if I use a rotisserie chicken and frozen vegetables, there's very little prep work to do. If you've got leftover turkey from Thanksgiving this past week, you can absolutely make turkey pot pie soup with the same recipe. Just substitute the turkey for the chicken. I love serving this soup...

Three coconut shortbread cookies on a fancy white plate.

Hi Reader, At my house, holiday baking starts with a batch of shortbread. My mom loves to make shortbread for gifts, but we usually make a few early batches for ourselves to test out new flavours. This week I’m sharing our chocolate shortbread cookies, which are wonderfully crisp and full of chocolate flavour. I’m also linking our new coconut shortbread cookies recipe, which just might be my favourite cookie of all time. I hope you try making it, it's delicious. Chocolate Shortbread Cookies...
