It’s official: summer is here!

Now, if only the weather would catch up… Every time I go for a walk after work, it’s still chilly and windy. Hopefully, some proper sunny days are around the corner.

Mexican-Style Corn Cups

These Mexican corn cups — also known as esquites or elote en vaso — are creamy, zesty, and loaded with grilled corn, lime, mayo, and Cotija cheese.

Garlic Scape Pesto (new!)

While I love a classic basil pesto, this ultra-garlicky garlic scape version is something I look forward to every summer. It’s bursting with flavour, and I only get to make it once a year.

What are Garlic Scapes?

These curly green shoots are a seasonal specialty, offering mild garlic flavour and a range of culinary possibilities.
