🌰 How to Roast Chestnuts (and why you should try it!)

Hi Reader,

There’s something so cozy about roasting chestnuts at home.
The warm, nutty aroma, the gentle crackle in the oven... it just feels like Autumn every time I make them.

I love their sweet, buttery flavour (especially paired with warm melted butter and a pinch of salt!). They're a unique treat that I wish more people knew about.

If you’ve never tried roasting chestnuts before, I’ve got you covered with an easy-to-follow guide below. I'm also sharing my spiced hot chocolate recipe, because it pairs so well with chestnuts.

Also, I know it’s a bit early, but if you’re starting to think about your holiday menu, I’ve put together a free collection of my best holiday recipes.

A hand holding a crisp plain potato chip topped with a piece of smoked salmon, a dollop of creme fraiche, and a fresh chive.

Hi Reader, As we get ready to welcome the new year, I wanted to share two easy little treats you can make for New Year’s Eve. The sparkling cranberry punch is festive, refreshing, and alcohol-free. And the potato chip canapés are one of my favourite low-effort appetizers: crisp, salty chips topped with smoked salmon, a little creaminess, and fresh herbs. I imagine they’d be good with champagne,...

A clear glass of frothy eggless eggnog on a fancy coaster.

Hi Reader, My idea of a little treat is a cozy, warm drink. The eggnog is creamy and lightly spiced without being too sweet, and it comes together in just a few minutes. I love to drink this warm, but it's great cold, too. The hot...
